he nutrients our eyes need are often hard to come by – and our bodies sometimes lose the ability to synthesize them as we age. For instance: carotenoid nutrients such as lutein and specific forms of zeaxanthin make up your macular pigment. This part of your retina protects underlying photoreceptor cells from the harmful effects of excess blue and ultraviolet light.

Started taking OcuShield daily almost two months ago and recently have been noticing better detail in my vision. A week ago I had an examination at my doctor’s which included a Snellen Chart test. The results were completely unexpected – 20/15 in one eye and 20/20 in the other. 20/15 means that you can see at 20 feet what someone with 20/20 vision would see at 15 feet. Since I’ll be 70 in seven months, I was stunned.
After taking OcuShield for a few weeks or so I noticed a definite improvement in my vision. I wear glasses and I can tell that my vision seems sharper and things seem more vivid. Big fan of this supplement.
Ingredients I gave it a 5 because the ingredients are similar to those recommended by my ophthalmologist. As to the efficacy it is an unknown at this time. This type of supplement, as many others are, requires lat least 60-90 days and a follow-up before and after eye examine. The before exam has been done. Follow up is in Dec.
